Bicycle trips  [up]

We have prepared three trips all of them beginning and ending in Espirdo.

There are bicycles disposable for hiring if you have not carried it.

Horse Raiding  classes and trips [up]

You can get horse riding classes or simply hiring horses to have a nice trip. The horses are in Tres Casas village, near Espirdo.

Canoeing [up]

Initiation canoeing classes in La Granja dam, a beautiful place surrounded by the highest mountains of Segovia.

Tracking [up]

The GR 88 is a official and well signalised tracking route. It is near Espirdo and go by the mountains. We will give you the information you need to go and enjoy the mountains.

If you want some less exigent we will show you the most interesting places to make a quite trip with splendid views. 

Trip 1 – Bicycles

Pirón, Viejo and Polendos rivers   [up]

Description

The valleys of Piron and Polendos rivers present a flora an fauna variety not very common in the province of Segovia. The hermit of Santiaguito, the cave of la Vaquera, the Black Well and the roman church of la Higuera are the most interest point in the path.

Trip 2 – Bicycles

Glens and caceras in Guadarrama mountains  [up]

Description

The  caceras are water conductions which come down from the mountains to the villages. In El Romo mill you can see a peculiar way to distribute the water between the different caceras who go to different villages.  This mill is half way to the path who climb to the Malagosto pass. In this trip you can see some places used by La Mesta, a middle age shepherd organisation, to conduct the sheep from the summer pastures in the north to the winter ones in the south.

Trip 3 – Bicycles

The countryside of Segovia city  [up]

Description

In this trip you will enjoy a different  view of Segovia town from the opposite hill crossing the Eresma river.

The interest points are: San Lorenzo quarter, San Vicente monster, Parral Monster and the path with trees by the river, La Veracruz Church. La Fuencisala, San Milan church, an the romanic hermit of Veladiez.
